- B - saloon heating
- F5 / F6 - passenger doors

- Ctrl left or right - look back (if you leave cab, reactivate deadman switch)
- H - horn
- X - wipers
- Enter rear cab and turn on tail lights and dest. light
- Set dest then leave the cab (shut the door)
- Go to front cab
- Sit
- Selector to 'Auto' PgDn
- TBC to 'service application' up
- Turn on cablights, dest, dash, vent
- Turn on heater and passenger lights
- Exit action mode (space)
- Set desto.
- TBC to 'rheostatic 2 and EP application' up
- On right panel click "lamp test"
- Switch to "brake test" and yellow lights should illuminate
- TBC to "service application" dn - red lights should illuminate
- TBC to "rheostatic 2 and EP application"
- Turn off brake test.

DVA digital voice announcer
- TBC to service
- Press "program"
- 2 and 8 to select route
- If short service, start and end stations
- Press "program" to finish - DVA should show "Automatic Announcer enabled"
- 1 = ready, 2 = stand clear, 3 = Terminates, 4 = all change, 5 = delayed, 6 = thankyou, 7 = mtg, 8 = no smoking, 9 = train held.
- If the TBC is set to shutdown, the DVA has to be reprogrammed.
- Before closed station Blackfriars, press "Closed station"
- At final station (except Edgware Road and Hammersmith), press 3 advising of termination.
- Blue light = doors closed
- Open doors
- Ctl to look back
- Close cab door (F7 or F8)
- Check signal and move off - remember you might need to tab deadman's switch
- Close doors
